Yes, very likely.

I had to look up this veterinary disease.

It's very similar to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in humans. Loss of the myelin sheath in the spinal cord of dogs is the primary problem. Anavex 2-73 may well be able to address that, as it might in ALS in humans.

Veterinary applications for Anavex 2-73 or any of the other Anavex pipeline drugs have not been discussed much. But should any of the Anavex drugs find veterinary applications, in any way equivalent to antibiotics, the market will be in the billions of dollars.
