Huge deal with Coinstar...17,000 machines generating ad revenue once they all get installed?

The Rite-Aid deal kinda went bust as I was expecting thousands of coupon centers in those stores with the Provision holodisplay. This Coinstar deal looks much more promising.

My guess is that with the recently announced deal with Coinstar, Coinstar must see a lot of potential revenue with this deal. After all, the Coinstar machines not only just change coins for huge fee (11.9% in the U.S. the last time I looked), but they also offer an option to exchange coins for gift cards instead.

That means Coinstar certainly must already have plenty of existing relationships with those Gift Card clients, making it that much easier to have holograms of those clients' products displayed at the Coinstar terminal.

If Coinstar is going to go through the process of retrofitting 17,000 machines, there must be a strong financial incentive in having the PVHO holographic displays on top of each Coinstar unit.

For me, that means that this announced deal could turn into a revenue generating windfall for PVHO. Here's that press release with Coinstar just this month.

PVHO, Coinstar and potentiall 17,000 machines generating Ad Revenue!
