Sold MU CCs this morning.

Received $0.50 for Dec 1 '17 $50 strike.

Last trade was $0.33.

The two previous CC sales expired worthless to the buyers. Prior to those I had to roll out-&-up previous sales because MU shares would not quit going up (way beyond my expectations). So I'll have to do this a couple more times to break even on the last string of CC trades. It's very rare to have it turn out this way but, in case nobody noticed, MU had an unusually strong (and unexpected) run after their last earnings report.

In theory, holding a trending stock and selling Calls against those shares during normal times and weakness, will make more money than if you just held the stock and didn't sell any Calls. Sometimes during those times it's a good idea to let the shares get assigned because it's likely that the shares will decline further and they can then be bought back at lower prices.
