Correct and in complete agreement..
Its just one of the those
Things that make you go Hmmmm.

As you said, this could be coincidence. Or it could be NPWZ has a battery that does what they it does and recharges quickly because of its 3 D design and meet the safety standards are per the video...

Things that make you go Hmmmm.

Is it just a coincidence that the Team Lead working with NEAH on the VTO project is quoted here and announced as point on the new development push and the funding opportunity ?

http://www.usagnet.com/state_headlines/state_story.php?tble=IL2017&ID=1245

From the Article:
Our goal is to give drivers an experience they're familiar with, and that is being able to pull into a station, charge their battery and be on their way in about 10 minutes," said Argonne chemist and battery expert Ira Bloom, who sees this happening in the near future. DOE's Vehicle Technologies Office is demonstrating its commitment to this effort through a $15 million funding opportunity announced Oct. 24.

If and I mean If, NEAH gets some of that funding then we will know its their battery that sparked the "in the near future" comment.

How fast can a NEAH battery charge ? Supposedly the fact that NEAH batteries are composed of massive numbers of tiny batteries ( pores ) they have a fast re-charge because the re-charge time is determined by each pore.

In many cases un-related things are posted here, this is the 3rd in a series of news announcements by Argonne and I had seen the others with no relation to NEAH , except possibly a reference to silicon in the batteries and the problems inherent along with advantages in one of them. Then I saw this one and it is quoting the Chief Scientist who has been looking at the NEAH battery since summer.

In the last VTO post test characterization update in the June 2017 merit review of the prior years testing, there were no profound discoveries announced. They abused a set of batteries and they degraded accordingly. Then NEAH was added to the collaboration and 5 months later the Chief Scientist gets positive about mainstreaming EV's ?

Things that make you go Hmmmm.

As I said, this could be coincidence.
