If there're any mugshots, I've never seen them. But he HAS been seen by his own attorneys, by psychiatrists, by court officers, by jailers, by judges, and more. There are reams of court testimony about and by him, going back years. Even Frizzell managed to seize some assets Edwards owned in this country.

Edwards's history is well known, and I suspect the authorities are familiar with every detail by now. In his youth in Great Britain, he was in a boy band for awhile; there are even a few extant recordings. He was married three times, I believe, most notably to Diana Lee Flaherty, who did her own prison stretch, but was released a few years ago. As far as I know, they're still husband and wife. He has children by Diana's predecessor.

And of course he was personally known to his co-conspirators: Turino, Casavant, the guys from NevWest, and more.

The PI the Xers hired, if that actually happened, can't have been very good at his work.
