I NEVER said the stock would be going down so where did you get the idea that I should short the stock?

I NEVER said that the share price would be going down; rather, I stated they may take the tax loss this year and maybe buy back in 30+ days at around the same price.

I DID STATE that one 'exception' which would cause a share price move upward was except for a buy-out offer by someone who can wait 2-years when billions will come IDCC's way via sensors and IoT

What i NEGLECTED TO SAY was perhaps a change in licensing with a new license or two, a settlement with ZTE, the re-licensing of LG, or other positive forces which [while unlikely] could happen at any time, would affect the share price in a positive way,

One more factor which would certainly bump the price up significantly is if Merritt admitted his math was incorrect when he used a calculator without a lot of zero's and IoT and Sensors would generate $100 BILLION dollars in revenues, and not $100 MILLION.

PS: I haven't dealt with options other than twice in 20-25 years ago when both contract expried worthless.
