My point regards not needing to use stop losses if you are keeping a close eye on the stock price and other activities concerning the markets in general. The only time I employ stop losses is if I am away on vacation and not able to follow the market. Regarding MM's on a rising stock price it is a known strategy that they will employ pullbacks to sponge up shares with stop losses. There is little point employing a stop loss when we are this close to news and once it breaks make sure you remove all stop losses as pullbacks will guarantee you losing positions. I am pretty sure most people on this board will be watching for news daily and hopefully the only issue we have over the coming month's / years is when to take profits.
