scania: Nobody here knows what is really going on. That is why I sent the following questions to IR@qode.com. I'm wondering if we'll see the company that is in control of all this will go public again as QODE. That symbol change was talked about here 10yrs ago! smile

Hello.  Can you please clear up my confusion?  I am trying to understand the relationship between "NM", "NM,LLC" and "NeoMedia Technologies, Inc." (NEOM) and the patent portfolio.

Your website here shows that "NM" owns the patent portfolio and they license them all to NM,LLC.  The USPTO shows the latest record of assignment as NeoMedia being released of its security interest by YA.

Since YA released NeoMedia from its security interest, does NeoMedia again own the patents or does NM,LLC still own all from their previous assignment from NeoMedia to NM,LLC?

Is NeoMedia Technologies, Inc.  'dba' now as NM or the other way around?

And, lastly, is NM,LLC a subsidiary of YA?

The wording in your website here explaining how "NM" has been a leader in 2D barcodes since the 90's makes it definitely appear that NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. should be referred to as "NM" now and that "NM" is a separate company from NM,LLC and that "NM" (NeoMedia Technologies, Inc.(?)) is now a subsidiary of NM,LLC.  Also, your link to 'learn more' from the mobile site's 'investors' page refers one to NEOM, the stock, at MarketWatch.

You can understand the confusion.

My guess is...
- NM,LLC is a subsidiary of YA
- "NM" is a subsidiary of NM,LLC
- NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. is 'dba' as "NM" now.
- Therefore, NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. is now a subsidiary of NM,LLC and they (NeoMedia Technologies, Inc) are again owners of the patent portfolio.

Your answers or responses to these questions is would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

I'll be sure to inform the board if and what answers are provided by, uh, not really sure, to be honest. That's the crazy thing too. The mobile site shows '2017 NM' on the bottom while the desktop site shows '2017 NM,LLC' at the bottom...

WHAT IS 'NM'? It is clearly a separate entity from NM,LLC since the 'IP Agreements' link on the desktop cleary explains that NM,LLC is licencing the patents FROM "NM".

Is "NM" an entirely separate legal entity all it's own OR is it a 'dba' of another company?

Will we be seeing another patent assignment update showing the portfolio owned now by this "NM" entity???

I question the idea that "NM" is a separate entity from NeoMedia (Technologies, Inc.) as they also put themselves in NeoMedia'a shoes when they tout themselves as the ones who were the leaders in this space since the 90's.

This is key, too...
NM, LLC, and its Subsidiaries (“NM” or the “Comany")

http://m.qode.com/mobileinvestors

Does that mean NM,LLC PLUS its Subsidiaries are ALL considered "NM" or the "Company", or just the Subsidiaries? There is no reason for them to capitalize 'subsidiaries'. Makes me think the "Subsidiaries", alone, therefore are "NM" or the "Company". That would match their own information that a separate entity entirely, "NM", owns the patents and licenses them to NM,LLC...the name on top the Global Headquarters door.

WHO or WHAT is "NM"???

Hopefully we'll get some answers soon.
