On the journey from $12 to .16, people had very many days of observation of trading patterns to make a decision about whether to sell or not. A stop-loss order would not have been a rational way to make that decision over those many months. You decide to sell at the best price possible or not. PERIOD. The stock movement was during trading hours every single day. The notion that a stop loss order has anything to do with this particular analysis, is flawed.
