Competitive landscape and key vendors

Characterized by the presence of a limited number of vendors, the market appears to be concentrated. The vendors require contracts to perform business activities with the defense sector. The introduction of stringent regulations towards the usage of liquid hydrogen which is a highly flammable substance, will have a negative impact on the growth of the vendors in the defense fuel cells market.

The leading vendors in the market are -

Protonex
Ultracell
Neah Power Systems
General Motors
SFC Energy
The other prominent vendors in the market are WATT Fuel Cell Corporation, Ballard Power Systems, Bloom Energy, Altergy, Delphi Automotive, and Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation.
