I think Franken is a throw away for Dims. He's probably an embarrassment for them. That's saying a lot., considering we are talking about Democrats.

If Franken can be forced to resign the Dim Gov of Minn would surely appoint a Democrat to fill his seat.

The Dims could then appear to be righteous in demanding Moore and Trump resign. IMO.
