Correct, I call it the Xxdate.

Look at OAKS, modest company. They pay a monthly divy of .05 cents and have dropped it down over the years. Their share price will swing .20-.50 cents over the month and its usually towards the latter half of the month. In 2 weeks you can buy in around the announcement, ride it up towards the x date when everyone starts to pile on, then sell it a couple days before at the high before the divy drop heading into the x date. Rarely do I ever qualify for their dividend, I just swing the run up banking more.
