As the days to cover slowly expire, and the possibility of some good news grows - the gentle buying may grow to more aggressive accumulation and those who are short may start to get more and more nervous, and start stepping over each other to get shares to cover their short positions. I don't think the big institutional buyers like Merrill Lynch and Vanguard and the others are quite finished buying yet. Like I said - it's a contest between the institutional buyers and the short positions - and right now I think the institutional buyers have the upper hand.
