I think chances are you’re right that the fees judgement will be upheld but even if it isn’t there is no change that the debt will be reduced to zero. This makes Google a judgement creditor of some yet to be determined amount and there’s a lot Google can do to secure their claim for unquantified debt.

Watch for the late November events on the EA action. Watch for moves in the appeal on VLL. Google was being a bit glib about this until recently but I think with the RICO claims and the obvious insolvency of the ‘litigation funding entity’ we can expect all stops to be pulled out.
