Dear Amfil Nation,
I can not thank all of you enough for the prayers and kind thoughts in my time of need. As most of you know I posted 3 weeks ago that my doctors had told me to get my affairs in order as a result of me being very ill and having unfavorable scans and tests associated with my spent heart and lungs and was told I might not see Thanksgiving. The data and scans were taken 1 month ago or about 1 week before I met with my doctors and at the time I did not expect to wake up the next day for several nights , then I decided to do a quick goodbye post here and expected 5-6 responses but instead received 200-300 post and private messages that took me a full 2 1/2 days to respond to , most of my responses were private messages as I did not want to draw anymore attention to myself or disrupt the board as I had already done so by accident.
The kind thoughts and prayers DEFINATELY WORKED :):) as today I was subject of the same tests and scans done a month ago and while the results show me to still be up to my elbows in alligator's there are far fewer alligator's present. My lung function improved an astounding 16%-18% and my cardiologist thinks there is similar to even better improvements to my heart and is advising me to exercise but do so with caution and stated she is looking forward to repeating the scans and tests in 90 days as her and my pulmonologist both admit they are in shock because this very rarely happens and asked me over and over if I had changed something in my drug, diet , or exercise routine. I told them no that my improvement was gained through the power of prayer and the power of positivity and shared a little about what happened here. Their response was that there have been clinical studies done that prove prayer and positivity work to help people that are gravely ill.

While I was waiting for my scan I met a gentleman who was very ill and told him how I was in worse shape than him until I was given a gift by so many people here and suggested he reach out to others for prayers and well wishes since it can not hurt, he responded by asking for my name and phone number. If he calls I will of course do everything I can to help him.
