Yes, SeekingAlpha is just a venue for any contributor to submit an article and, if it is cogent and decently written, the editor(s) will publish it, and then maybe give it some extra attention by designating it as an "editor's pick" etc.

S.Alpha does not commission writers to write on specific stocks or financial topics.

I've written a handful of articles in the past (on REX and PEIX ethanol cos. and on SINO-- and am presently at work on an article for another co. i'll not mention here).

Ebrie, if you're listening, it's very easy to contribute an article to S.Alpha. Just make sure to use Google Chrome as your internet browser when you interact with S.A.'s contributor web-software. In the past, i experienced lots of glitches when trying to use another browser such as IExplorer or Mozilla Firefox.
