Well, I just re-listened to a youtube video that I'd already heard & boy was I brain dead when I listened to it the first time because I learned a whole lot the second time through.

Everyone who actually wants to get up to speed needs to listen to this video because it is VERY informative.

Its about the Sweden facility, which will expand their cryptocurrency mining capacity by 175%. Also, HIVE's new Swedish facility will NOT mine Bitcoin because Bitcoin requires ASIC boxes & all of the units in this facility will be GPU based. Meaning.... they will be mining ALT coins, not Bitcoin.

Anyway, this is good to know because of yesterday's announcement that the Bitcoin hardfork was canceled. I did some reading on various sites since yesterday's announcement that Segwit2 was a no-go & the concensus was that the bulk of the impact will be felt in the ALT coin markets because a lot of money had funneled into Bitcoin to take advantage of the free coin that was going to be part of Segwit2. Since that free coin got the boot, money came out of Bitcoin. Bitcoin went up, but not as much a % as the ALT coins.

Also, the Sweden facility came up for sale with these factoids as a background:
- it is all new equipment
- Genesis designed their own equipment & they "bought out" their hardware Supplier
- the build out was underway at the time the deal was inked (Oct 23)
- the deal is scheduled to close Nov 14, which is next Tuesday
- the scheduled completion date is December 2017, at which time the facility will begin generating money immediately
- HIVE will hoard the coins they mine

Its a very interesting video.

And lastly, the closing of the Sweden deal next Tuesday should generate another PR. The PR about Iceland helped price so, given that the capacity increase (according to the upcoming Sweden news) will be greater than the Iceland deal, what likelihood is there that there will be a price climb following the PR? I know what I think its impact will be, but I'm not about to try to predict the future. People should make up their own minds about the future price here.
