nwsun. No passwords or sign in's while using a private window or private browser is by design. You are operating in a virtual window where nothing is loaded to your hard drive as it's protected from all internet traffic.

Nothing you do in a private window is saved at all, only during that session. You can even change passwords on a site, but when you close the private window, that password should not stick. If anything you may screw up the other site log in if that site retained any change. I could be wrong about the passwords though.
