Nobody paints grow tents.

They come ready and are black fabric and likely mylar inside.

Yes. Black outside, reflective inside!
The black prevents outside light from contaminating the flowering area. Reflective inside benefits the plants as it reflects light.

I have friends that have multi million dollar medical grows in the US.
I actually know what I'm talking about.
