The hidden dispute between Nok and Idcc

Although, on the surface, the dispute seems to deal with 2G, Nok's real agenda IMO is 3G. Nok is probably willing to pay .4% for 2G, but in return it wants Idcc to give away its future by agreeing to a very low rate for 3G. This, Idcc refuses to do. Idcc stands ready to fight as long as necessary with Nok over 2G and it insists on maintaining its licensing integrity for 3G. Nok wants to show its co-conspirators how to act in order to control royalty rates. Idcc has the right cards and intends this time not to fold.
