I disagree, One-man-band. P-n-Ders are always glad do disseminate the information that a stock is undergoing a pump, (after they have stocked up on rock-bottom shares), to would-be "momo players", which will flock to the stock and buy in droves.
The net effect is that the P-n-Ders will unload unto the momo players, which will themselves attempt to unload on the unwary suckers.
I expect that a significant portion of said momo players will fail to flip fast enough, and will get stuck with underwater shares.
To reiterate, the momo players/flippers are an essential part of a pump-and-dump operation, and are a separate group than the initial pumpers.
