Wait a minute I was on our companies pinic committee and we plan the pinic and got it started more than 6 months in advance. There is alot of planning and cordinating of peoples time, vacations,food, beverages, transporation entertainment.

It was always very important that the principals be there
and contribute with the every day working person.

As you know I think management is wimps, but this is riduclous
to complain about.
