Gamco, there are comments that Broadcom feels that if the deal were consumated, APPLE would likely feel good about the acquisition of QCOM by Broadcom. Further, Broadcom thinks the regulators would not file anti-trust claims and that Broadcom has taken these factors into consideration befomr making the bid.

AND, with Trump talking in Asia about trade agreements and perhaps Broadcom lrelocating into the U.S., it sounds promising.

The rumor is that Qualcomm will reject the initial bid of $70 per share. GOOD ! ! Talk of $80-$85 are more in line with street anticipation.

NOW, lets hope that IDCC is also on Broadcom's radar. IDCC could be another key factor to current licensing agreements as well as future developments in IoT. IMO, you can't have enough skin in the game in the IoT market and IDCC is hopefully up there with the best ! ! !
