Hi Gang, Well, you can totally ignore what I posted about getting stock price data from Yahoo. They just turned it off, apparently because some people were getting the data and the spreading it around. This is what you get when you attempt to use ones like this: https://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=BIV+^GSPC&f=sd1t1l1vc1pn

It has come to our attention that this service is being used in violation of the Yahoo Terms of Service. As such, the service is being discontinued. For all future markets and equities data research, please refer to finance.yahoo.com.

Yeah, you can use the portfolios you set up on Yahoo but it is a bit of a pain to do paper trading this way as it takes several extra steps.

I've been using it to follow a bunch of indexes and some ETFs to attempt to see what is happening to the market. Mostly it is vacillating plus/minus a percent or less as a whole but some ETFs are on a slight down slope as is Bolsa, the Mexican version of the Dow, well sort of. Based on prior research, I think the Bolsa might be a leading indicator. We'll see.

Best,

Allen
