Let's not jump to conclusions. In the first place, I don't know if he needs an office, who he knows, or what it is he is doing for the company. Why they PR'ed it as an acquisition, instead of just a hire for shares, is anyones guess.I didn't meet the man, and have nothing bad to say about him. Howdy should have been far more clear. He could have said outright that O'brien worked solely through a web bussiness, it's not that uncommon these days. Had he provided a telephone #, I would have arranged to meet O'brien to see what he was up to, rather than abruptly showing up at his house.
