Perhaps, but NO ONE KNOWS YET WHAT PART IDCC OR ANYONE WILL PLAY in the IoT.

You count your chickens before they are hatched; You count chickens even before the eggs are laid and fertilized.

You have done that with Nokia/Microsoft, Huawei, LG, ZTE, Xiongi, and a host of others.

How many BILLIONS have we recognized from Nokia/Microsoft? How many MILLIONS have we recognized from LG? How many MILLIONS have we recognized from ZTE, XIONGI, and the others?

When it happens, and we see the direction we are heading into, it would be time to hop on the train. Park the car that we have the engine and transmission for in the garage; Turn off the calculator with lots of zero's before the decimal point.

IDCC can't be a 'Jack of all trades'; they can't have their fingers in everything.

It's like the old story of an old bull and a young full looking up a hill and they see a herd of cows. The young bull says 'let's charge up the hill and get us a couple of cows". The old bull, speaking from wisdom and knowledge says 'let's walk up that hill and get 'em all".
