I'd be happy with almost anything at this point, right? A neuro-oncology journal reaches their direct market, so that's certainly a good thing.

And ESMO's journal reaches most oncologists - and that would probably be even better.

My thinking is that they are likely not seeking a journal that is affiliated with a conference. That would probably prove too difficult to coordinate. That leaves us with them seeking the journal that works best for what it is they have to say, and works best for those most concerned with the process.
