Watching this unfold is quite interesting. The company, BLTA at some time may be USGlobal, announces it is going into a quiet period, a blackout - but they seem to have violated their own decision to do that. If they do not want word to leak out about the upcoming Songbird acquisition prior to the announcement the deal is closed then why did they..
1- post pictures on the website of models wearing flight attendant clothing. Even if they are real flight attendants, which I doubt, the inference prior to the closing date of October 31 is quite clear - the deal is going ahead and it is a non-verbal pump of the stock.
2 - the addition of the individual on the website everyone is so sure indicates the deal is going through. But remember, the company is in a blackout.
Again, the inference is, the deal is going to close but we will not make a public statement until it closes but wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more - they add two items to the website which clearly makes the inference the deal is going to close, thus breaking their own blackout about not commenting.
That is clear as day. That is bush league, either you have a blackout period, or you don't. Which is it?
