"Arbitrary supply changes"... yeah I don't know about that, there's a limited amount of precious metals on earth, but it's anyone's guess as to when technology evolves again.

If he means less prone to manipulation by central banks, yes I agree. One look at the yahoo finance page tells you all you need to know -- these guys are terrified.
