Hmmmmm. Well, when I think about it your mileage might increase with the V&H and a K&N. The whole thing would be operating more freely. Less resistance on the intake side and less backpressure on the exhaust side.????

Another thing I did is change over to a full synthetic oil in everything. Kind of expensive but if it reduces wear it's probably cheap.
