The people who got out and voted for Trump and got him into office are still behind him - You may be right, but if Team Trump's plan to drastically cut back on the amount an employee can contribute to his/her 401-k plan, thereby increasing their income tax liability, that could change. But I wouldn't count on it as most Trump supporters are fed only certain info and overall are not well informed, as you learned on your road trip.
