If a molecule that is found in nature is synthesized in a lab is it natural or synthetic ?

Honest to Gawd, one of the beverage I drink says, "Natural Carbon Dioxide" on the label.

At some point, it is meaningless. See Oh too pulled from the air is chemical or biologically created, probably from burning hydrocarbon or metabolized by animal. Or you could manufacture it in a furnace and get pure manufactured. Separate it from air and how ya gonna tell what part was exhaled and what part was created from unleaded??

But quinine refined from bark or built in a bioreactor or test tube is either natural or synthetic. Straightforward enough. Strangely enough weird contaminants are often the signature of "natural".
