If, after the first hatchet job done by Seth Jayson people from this board and the RB board had just kept their mouths/emails shut I don't think we would have become a "cause" for him to come back to batter time after time.

True, he abused us with his first article but there are times to step back and let it pass and I believe that was when we should have done it.

Some very smart people once counseled "Know when to pick your fights". You have to realize when there is no benefit to going to war. If you cannot do damage and cannot win the war then wait for a battle that is more in your favor.

The pumpers laughed when they sent so many emails to Jayson that his box could not accept any more. They laughed when they sent emails to his editor screaming what a jerk Jayson was. They didn't hurt him -- they just pizzed him off and made GTE a permanent target for him. They didn't harm Jayson, they did harm to all shareholders by making us his target. To pay them back for their abuse we now suffer whenever he does another abusive article.

We all suffer because the foolish just had to satisfy their ire.

What a shame.
