would you state that Dr. M is attempting (successfully?) to manage a change in CNS disease approach and thinking?

It looks like he has a natural inclination to see both the forest and the trees as a continuum. Over time w/his leadership and others we will understand better what we currently do not know and (IMO) that means the envelope of things we know we do not know will get massive before it gets smaller. He is using AI to increase the rate of this gap generation process so that the list will get longer at a faster rate over time, the money will get spent on the list. That is all positive and is a way of leading I suppose.

Many smart people here may comment but I see DR. M. as reading CNS diseases as a composite issue, not a one shot. Composite solutions do not mange well in BP's where budgets and plans have to be used to survive. We might answer our own question with a question. Does BP, FDA, WS get in the way of very complex problem solving? We can easily see the answer to that. As the "Wizard of ID" famously said..."we have found the enemy, and it is us". The system is clearly broken?
