My gut tells me that the most likely scenario is a combination of bb's options. The world oil powers are waking up to the fact that they've hurt themselves by bidding against each other... that's why we're reading of partnerships and cooperative agreements. In the JDZ I see the Chinese and Indians with more cash than ability, and the US majors with the technical expertise for the deep water. Addax is great at what they do, but this is too big for them. Throw in the burnt bridges between SEO and the US majors and the odds are that China and India buy controlling interest in ERHE and the US majors buy Addax. They then work out a cooperative agreement where the US supplies the expertise and the others bankroll it.

If I recall correctly, ERHE's rights with STP are not transferable, so ERHE can be bought out, but not out of existence.
