The wording on that slide about activating S1R is a bit ambiguous (and probably intentionally so). Endogenous S1R agonists are not well defined so it would be hard for them to claim that 2-73 activates those agonists (notice absence of references). What is actually stated is that it activates endogenous S1R which technically should refer to endogenous receptor (as opposed to agonist) though as I said the wording is a bit ambiguous. At least that is my reading of it.

As an agonist that binds to the S1R protein, 2-73 is by definition an S1R ligand


As an aside...anyone know the S1R binding affinity of the 2-73's metabolite (ANAVEX19-144)?
