You sell yourself short in my opinion, no pun intended.
You can send an email to Trey K., he's the Officer and doubles as the inside IR guy. I know he'll read it and "hear" it.
Your points are well taken. I'm not in the concerned camp concerning sustainability of distributions as it's widely known from various analysts with inside information that coverage is at least 1.3 times more recent distribution levels @ 39 cents. If anything, I'm thinking we may see a reassurance not only of the expected amount but an indication of when we might once again resume an upward slope.
I do know from speaking with Trey before that he and his company are very much focused on bringing value to unitholders. I'm good with that, having exchanged ideas previously with him. It would be smart for others to join in and express their views. I'd call, myself, and suggest an update but we're just a week or two from an announcement detailing when quarterly guidance is to be released so I don't want to be a nuisance.
But an email as I'm suggesting is a different matter as it leaves all control in Tray's hands without distracting him from other duties.
Regarding shorting.....
It's the flip side of longs. We are longs because we believe in the company and its underlying motivations to succeed in the marketplace. We will win in the tug of war because we and our company are united for all the right reasons that extend far beyond mere money management and community sentiments. That doesn't preclude the certainties of market manipulation, some of which is promoted by shorts, imo. I wish to point out, however, that institutional ownership of our units continues to be at the 63% level. This tells me that at least THEY aren't being bamboozled by games being played by those trying to dissuade longs via campaigns introducing vagaries designed to frighten unitholders away.
There are some out there determined to profit at our expense...we may be mere retail folks with not a lot of money to invest but together we represent a meaningful force.
