Who said world population will not keep increasing? What I said is that predicting it will increase by 2 to 3 billion in 20 years is absolutely absurd. You can't just take in the fact that people are being born at a rate of 350,000 per day you have to also consider that there are also 150,000 deaths per day.

Your question in rhetorical: where are the new vehicle customer to come from? I can ask: Where will the new EV drivers come from?

The average commute for drivers in the US to and from work is about 30 miles. Where is the 500 miles average trip coming from? Road Trips? Family Vacations?

Have you heard of OPEC? They are an oligopoly...they control 81.5% of the world's oil reserves. They are what De Beers are to diamonds. What does this mean? They can control prices and manipulate them all they want.

EVs actually have higher repair costs that are associated to one part: battery cells. Average life expectancy varies from 6 years to 8 years. Their technology isn't close to "perfect" as you think. There are no 10 minute quick charge EV vehicles. Where are they?
Exactly...looks like increasing SUV sales to me with oil prices staying around $50/barrel because that is the threshold OPEC will stay at so they can make a profit.

People in major metropolitan cities use taxis because of one major reason: parking is a nightmare. Outside of those cities most persons have a vehicle and need to use it not just for commuting but for everyday life.

How will 3-D VR/AR entertainment gradually bite into vehicle sales? We'll be able to teleport to work? They're used for gaming right now...that's how far they've come along. Please do entertain me with an answer.
