They're lying too - how do you get EPA to 99% purity, especially in the FFA form? And as you point out, PharmaEPA RESTORE (PEPAR) is rTG-EPA, obviously not "identical" - even if this trial *was* using a pill "identical" to PEPAR, you have to ask why they're not actually using the PEPAR product - clearly something is different - perhaps level of quality control?
