"At the time of his escape, authorities said Benjamin Paddock was a diagnosed psychopath and therefore "extremely dangerous." The FBI reported he had suicidal tendencies.

"The FBI also called him an avid bridge player."

"Social Security death records show that Benjamin Paddock died Jan. 18, 1998, in Tarrant County, Texas. The Federal Bureau of Prisons operates a facility in Fort Worth, the county's largest city."
