what you wrote says "Can I make claims about...disease prevention?" And the answer is "Yes...as long as the statement doesn't imply that your product can... prevent a disease." Anyone else see the problem?



Yeah, if he copied *exactly* what that FDA reg says (don't have time to verify), that's a really strange statement - contradictory beyond comprehension. If a DS mentions that EPA has been shown to be helpful in managing high TGs, and the product contains only EPA, what other conclusion can you come to but that the DS is claiming to treat or prevent the disease of high TGs, even if they don't specifically say "our product will lower TGs"?
