Sorry but that isn't believable unless he has serious felonies. It's a $200 fee for the stamp and about a 6-month waiting period. Recently the waiting period has increased due to the backlog of applicants. Dealers cannot keep them in stock either.

Please stop calling them silencers. They don't silence anything.
