The Saleen Brand is known to Automotive Fans and had a reputation for producing attractive, high performance
improvement to Ford Mustangs (primary) and other muscle cars (lesser known under the Saleen brand).
That legacy has faded since 2006 when Saleen lost it's foothold with the Ford Dealerships and Shelby & Cobra
filled the high performance void. Saleen, Inc. went BK and basically dissolved when it was sold to a small company in Michigan and shut down the Irvine, CA facility. Steve started SMS which never got any traction or sold very many cars. Invisible to the National Automotive Fan base.

Saleen,Inc. came to existence and has NOT gained any traction. In four years they are mainly known for fake PR (Tesla, S7R, China, etc...) and a shaky financial footing. Just google Saleen and rumors of imminent Bankruptcy articles are publicized everywhere by nearly all the Automotive magazines.

In the Automotive World, Saleen's reputation is horrible. Nearly every Automotive supplier in the country has been Burned by Saleen for non-payment. He has basically taken a high percentage of the parts used to tune cars without paying for them. Saleen is COD with nearly every Automotive vendor and still owes hundreds of thousands of dollars for unpaid parts. Saleen's reputation with Ford Motor Company is dead due to past business compliance issues created by Saleen. Saleen's credit history with the Banks is horrible. Saleen's reputation with past Dealerships is terrible. Saleen has open pending unresolved law suits. Saleen has unresolved government issues with the IRS for non-payment of Payroll taxes and now with the SEC & FINRA.
So, to make a long story short, the SALEEN brand is less than worthless to anyone who would be associated with it. A start-up would have less problems executing it's business plan than Saleen would with all their heavy baggage of debt, reputation & failure (which continues to worsen).

I understand that SLNN bagholders with tens of thousands of dollars lost on Saleen shares would continue to promote overly optimistic information, but the denile of the facts is still not excused. Unfortunately, you have lost your investment and you need to face it. You did not deserve this fate. You were conned.
