The only problem here are the facts. Saleen Automotive is a Tuner NOT an OEM Manufacturer. The only vehicle they ever were the OEM was the S7 back in 2004 under a different company, Saleen, Inc.
That 1 composite S7 chassis frame pictured and posted on this site is an old chassis from 2005. No engine, drive train, transmission, glass, interior etc... just one old S7 frame mounted on work horses.
Also, the Saleen S7R would probably never be certified by NSTB due to safety compliance issues and Saleen's prior fines for selling non-certified vehicles in the past.
To compare Steve Saleen with Elon Musk is ludicrous. Steve glues molds and stickers onto cars that other people design and manufacture. Saleen tries to take credit for designing the whole car. Any idea that Saleen Automotive could be anything other than a small Tuner Garage is far, far beyond the talent in place at Saleen Automotive and is a complete fantasy in my opinion.
