If commons get cancelled (which seems likely) I hope a class action suit is filed by shareholders against WC/gallant for insider manipulation. I don't understand why the judge did not look more unfavorably upon the BOD changes and pre auction smear campaign led by WC and Hagan against SOUP - especially when the judge is documented to have noted these concerns.
I believe their (WC) agenda was to control the negotiations of asset sales and to scare off any competition from other bidders - and it worked.
Shareholders caught in the middle. SOUP's disclaimer to shareholders regarding the risky nature of holding shares during bankruptcy has NOTHING to do with manipulation of the process by the purchaser WC and a complicit debtor SOUP.
It would not surprise me to see problems for WC/Gallant and SOUP going forward.
