Hi Allen, Re: ETF performance against specific indexes...........

It might be worth your while to compare the SPDRS sector ETFs to the Guggenheim "equal weight" ETFs of the same sectors. The Guggenheim sector ETFs will have a heavier emphasis on smaller capitalization stocks than the same SPDR sectors. Expenses are a bit more. Further you can then compare both to the original index you were using as a benchmark.

Some studies show the equal weight sectors to be better performers when small and mid cap stocks are in favor.
