Just to be clear, are you saying Missling's purchases were initiated with the hopes the misinformed will continue to add while LPC unloads shares? Are you insinuating, Missling planned on using longterm believers to support a stock while behind their backs he was activity selling?

The stock did rise over 31% from Aug 10th to the high of 5.14 (from 3.53), 17 trading days later. If that was his intent, I say he was successful although I hope he is not that devious.
