This is even bigger than being a remote monitoring device. It provides an algorithm for insulin dosing. There is NO WAY the FDA would have approved this device if the algorithm did not provide extremely safe and precise dosing calculations. Do you think healthcare providers might be interested in a device that decreases morbidity, mortality, and healthcare costs, especially if they are being reimbursed by Medicare? I dunno... but it sort of qualifies as a no-brainer as far as I can tell.
