Salmon people are not happy.

When Governor Walker came into office in 2014 Alaskans were promised a new era for Alaska and Fish First Policies. Unfortunately campaign promises have proven to be pure rhetoric, not reality. We’re writing you today with an urgent call for action and accountability from this administration.

This week, the Walker Administration rejected a ballot measure that would have promoted responsible resource development while creating clear standards to protect Alaska's wild salmon. We believe that this decision was wrong and we will be fighting it to ensure that Alaskan voters will have the opportunity to Stand for Salmon.

Tell Governor Walker you are disappointed he has chosen politics over wild salmon

It is disappointing that the Walker Administration is playing politics with our wild salmon resources and has decided to cater to the short-term interests of outside, multi-national mining companies instead of Alaskans and the salmon we depend on.

Wild salmon are an essential part the culture, identity and economic well-being of Alaskans. Tell Governor Walker it is time to update Alaska’s law to protect our wild salmon habitat and fisheries.
