Sure seems from the above you were implying the strong script numbers were due to the 80% IA. Not sure how else to interpret your statement.

That is exactly what I'm saying!

Say you are a PCP. A drug rep pays you a visit, tells you all about V - embellished by the new promotional liberties provided by the IA victory. He/she tells you about this big CVOT going on for the past 5 years and that an 80% interim look is forthcoming soon. You begin to prescribe the drug to several patients... until you find out the trial is not halted but continued because 85-90% of the analyzed data was not "overwhelming and robust." Your response to that news? Revert to your previous habits; Statins, and if patients are interested, recommend quality Omega 3 supplements.

As I said before, this is not the first time scripts have dipped a couple of weeks in a row


It's irrelevant what happened prior to the "pin that popped the 'overwhelming and robust' balloon." The key to AMRN stock rebound will be related to what Rxs do AFTER the continuation announcement not before.
